Laser Cladding provides for dimensional restoration in a flexible environment.

Relatively thin materials can now be repaired by FSI without concern of warping caused by high heat input.

In addition to low heat input, the deposition of materials is extremely
accurate, both in location and volume.

As a result, machining and blending are reduced to an absolute minimum and cracking due to shrinkage is virtually non-existent. 

Applications continue to surface for this high tech equipment; many parts which were not considered repairable can now be routinely welded and put back into service.
